The Life of Princess Lacey

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaab/2014/04/17/princess-laceys-life-celebrated-at-michigan-state/7812917/

Lacey Holsworth was an 8-year-old girl, who had suffered from cancer. She was a very strong, outgoing, and selfless girl. She went to visit MSU to watch a basketball game when her and the team formed a great bond, especially with Adreian Payne. Lacey was MSU's #1 fan and biggest supporter. Adreian and Lacey got very close, into a brother and sister kind of bond. She was clear of cancer as of scans, but it came back and the second time she couldn't fight it away anymore and she passed away. Her funeral service and memorial was held in MSU's basketball arena and there was a video made of memories and all of the guys on the team and her mother said a few words for her.

This is a powerful story. A little girl who fought cancer twice became such an inspiration to the whole MSU basketball team, and soon after that to the whole world. I give her major props for staying so strong and always keeping a smile on her face even when she never knew how much longer she would be around. This is so inspiring, when media makes people think people in fame don't do the good things they could, this proves the exact opposite. It just goes to show that people don't change just because they become successful in life.
